APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN ADVANCED HOME TUTUORING, LLC DBA CLUB Z! IN-HOME TUTORING SERVICE AND THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY TO PROVIDE SES SERVICES FOR TITLE I SCHOOLS 2007-2008
Description
Advanced Home Tutoring, LLC DBA Club Z! In-Home Tutoring Service will provide one-on-one tutoring services to eligible students attending Title I schools not meeting AYP. Individual tutoring sessions will take place in the home. Small group (limit 5) tutoring sessions will take place on school campuses and at Community Centers. Tutoring services provided shall not exceed twice a week, with tutoring session not exceeding 1 hour. Advanced Home Tutoring, LLC DBA Club Z! In-Home Tutoring Service will provide ESE services and LEP services.
Recommendation
That the Sarasota County School Board approve the agreement with Advanced Home Tutoring, LLC DBA Club Z! In-Home Tutoring Service to provide SES services to eligible Title I students.

Financial Impact
Sessions are to be paid at an hourly rate of $63.00 per student, not to exceed $987.00 per student for the duration of the agreement. The provider is to be paid from Title I funds as stipulated in No Child Left Behind.
***The Title I SES Tutoring Program is currently in its setup process based on the DOE approved Sarasota Provider list and enrollment / eligibility mailings to Title I Parents. Once the providers have obtained executed agreements with parents and district, 310 contracts will be executed based on the provider's hourly rate and number of students with completed agreements.
